We released v1.25 just one week ago and we launched v1.2, open to everyone, two weeks ago.
Despite these updates, we thought it was not enough and since we love our users, today we are announcing the launch of a new little update, version 1.3.
Here is what’s new:
NEW: independent audio and visual HTML5 notifications for items in the monitor. For keywords, users or lists you care the most, you can now activate individual audio/desktop notifications for items in the monitor. Desktop notifications are available on Google Chrome only (if you turned on that option from settings). Just click on the red speaker on the top left of a monitor item. It will turn green and start sending notifications for new occurrences.
NEW: new contextual toolbar. We made the status updates’ contextual toolbar better and now it’s always visible on mouse over. In most cases, just the options “reply, quote, retweet” are visible, but you can show the other options by clicking on the “more tools” button on the right of the toolbar.
NEW: updated auto-complete engine. In the past versions we had to change how auto-complete works. In this version, we updated the auto-complete engine and it should now work better than any previous version. Please let us know if you like it. Give it some time to “learn”
NEW: default labels. Some users requested a few default labels to play with. We heard them, so here are the Family, Friends and Coworkers labels.
NEW: full-size avatar. Open a user profile, click on his/her avatar on the left to view his/her avatar full-size (in this image our faithful user @devinadivecha)
FIX: now images on links from www.twitpic.com are properly recognized a can be previewed.
FIX: a few little bugs
